This beastie is truly disgusting. We give it fresh meat as food, which it proceeds to ignore for several days until it becomes rancid. Then, apparently, it is palatable. Did I mention the smell? I feel like that is something I am compelled to warn everyone about. Ugh, I feel like retching just thinking about it.
