I was surprised to find a flame tuatara in Darklight Wood. Limora Roamhill, an Ayr'Dal Devotee of Flame, believes she was attracted by the heat of the Scorched Sky Celebration, and although the tuatara would likely wander elsewhere to find the heat necessary to survive once the celebrations concluded, her young wouldn't have any hope of survival.
