I found the captain of the Smarmy Sprocket, Cap'n Cog, locked in a cell with Admiral Grimgadget. Apparently the prisoners on the Island revolted and The Cap'n and Admiral locked themselves in a central cell with some weapons to save themselves during the assault. I'll need to find a way to release Cap'n Cog and Admiral Grimgadget in order to return home.
