I spoke with a frustrated mage instructor, who indicated that their students were having difficulty wielding the magic they have been learning. Although I wasn't able to get much information on what exactly was going on, I was directed to speak with someone named T'dylis - hopefully they can give me a bit more information.
Scales with Level
I should speak with Researcher T'dylis. They can't be too far.
Speak with Researcher T'dylis in Lavastorm (in Lavastorm)
It seems as if there is something causing a magic disruption, but T'dylis doesn't know the extent. I have agreed to help him gather more information, beginning with the goblins of Runnyeye.
Collect a magical goblish fetish (in Runnyeye: Mad Experimentation)
Collect a set of goblish notes (in Runnyeye: Mad Experimentation)
Collect an unfinished spellbook (in Runnyeye: Mad Experimentation)
I found a few interesting items in my search of Runnyeye. I should return these to T'dylis.
Return the goblish artifacts to T'dylis (in Lavastorm)
It appears that my next step will be taking me to face orcs in the depths of Crushbone.
Kill enraged orc casters (in Crushbone: The Wracked)
Destroy the corrupted shrines (in Crushbone: The Wracked)
I found the orcs, whose mages seemed to be somehow wracked with magical energies. I should return to T'dylis and report what I saw.
Return to Researcher T'dylis (in Lavastorm)
I've collected a fair bit of information, but it's likely that one source has more insigh than I could hope to muster into the events that are unfolding: the dragons of Skyshrine.
Speak with one of the dragons of Skyshrine (in Skyshrine: Lendiniara's Wisdom)
Collect the scroll mentioned by Lendiniara the Keeper (in Skyshrine: Lendiniara's Wisdom)
I've spoken with Lendiniara, and have gained some insight into what might be happening. I should return to T'dylis.
Speak with T'dylis (in Lavastorm)
Researcher T'dylis has asked me to make a trip to Kaesora, and see if I can find any corroborative information for the scroll that Lendiniara gave us.
Search Kaesora for any information that might confirm the scroll (in Kaesora: Forgotten Atrium)
I've collected the ancient iksar tome, and I should return it to Researcher T'dylis.
Speak with Researcher T'dylis (in Lavastorm)
T'dylis has half of a tome with a ritual inside, but is looking for the other half. I need to search Silent City and see if I can find the rest of the tome.
Search Silent City for the other half of the tome (in Silent City: Tomb of Seers)
I should return this half of the tome to T'dylis.
Return to Researcher T'dylis (in Lavastorm)
Find T'dylis west of Val'marr in Commonlands (in The Commonlands)
Find evidence of a hidden cavern near Yapping Maze (in The Commonlands)
Speak with Researcher T'dylis in the Crumbling Cavern (in A Crumbling Cavern)
Follow Researcher T'dylis as he investigates the Crumbling Cavern (in A Crumbling Cavern)
Investigate the Pedestal (in A Crumbling Cavern)
Speak with T'dylis once more (in A Crumbling Cavern)
I should take Researcher T'dylis portal to Greater Faydark.
Speak with T'dylis in Greater Faydark near the Combine spires (in Greater Faydark: The Sleeping Spires)
Defend T'dylis as he performs the ritual (in Greater Faydark: The Sleeping Spires)
