The Handcrafted Music Box - Quest

June 19, 2024 -- The new Anashti Sul server on the 2006 "Origins" EQ2 ruleset is now live. Sadly, there are no plans for it to support Census.

Adventure Report (on some pages called Kunark Ascending Report) has been updated to cover 16 of the 21 expansions AND now has tooltips you can hover over each expansion's quest count like 11 / 17 and it will show you which quests are done or not!

The Handcrafted Music Box

Category: Shimmering Citadel

Kedar the Curator in the Shimmering Citadel's museum gave me this broken music box. There must be some secret about it. I believe it is no coincidence that this box has come to me; I must find a way to open it. I have a feeling that the scarabs I will need to place into these depressions on the box will be found somewhere here in the Citadel or the Palace itself.

I must locate these scarabs in the citadel and palace. Once I have all four, I'll be able to put them onto the box.

Find the missing amber scarab. (in Shimmering Citadel)

Find the missing golden scarab. (in Poets Palace)

Find the missing azure scarab. (in Poets Palace)

Find the missing fire opal scarab. (in Poets Palace)

Now that I have all the scarabs, I will put them onto the music box.

I want to place the scarabs into the lid of the music box.
