Avelley Perryn, a miner in Echo Caverns, informed me metal armor and mining equipment is being eaten away by some sort of lichen. A group of Fordel Midst outcasts who lived down here, back before the Nexus invasion, had developed a sealant against the lichen, using cave spider venom.

The venom from the giant arachnids that fill the Limestone Forest region might just be the key to recreating the necessary sealant.
