December 3, 2024 -- Census is back after a 3 day outage and characters are once again exporting. Please note if your EQ2 character used the new Petamorph Key Ring feature, it will FAIL to export to Census or EQ2U. Avoid using this feature until a fix is available!!

As a drastic measure, if you are willing to irrevocably destroy any petamorph wands you have stored in the Petamorph Key Ring, you can type /delete_keyring_item 0 1234567890 where 1234567890 is the ItemID of the stored petamorph.

I found a bottle with a piece of paper in it on the beach in Greater Faydark. The piece of paper turned out to be three short journal entries from a Captain who accidentally hired pirates to be his crew. They, of course, took over his ship and somehow managed to run it aground here. The journal entries mentioned a chest. If I can find it I might be able to claim the treasure.

The journal entries said there was a chest on the ship. I should look around in the nearby ship wreckage for it.

I should investigate the ship wreckage in the water to find the treasure chest. (in Greater Faydark)

I found the treasure chest, but it was locked. The journal said the Captain swallowed the key to keep it safe. I should try to find his remains and possibly the key.

I should search for the Captain's remains in the bay, in the water near the shore to the south. (in Greater Faydark)
