Thaneni, the elven ghost I found near Zou'Lidelas, was right about the glaufaye. They are suffering under a spell that has made their lives joyless. He has reason to believe his staff is a threat to their preservation spell. Maybe with it, I could help free them? Thaneni and I have a plan to free his staff from the metamorphic rock it is locked within.

I am to capture toxic glow toads of the Luminous regions, then release them upon crag gorgers along Abyssal Overlook or Savage Spires. The gorgers that succumb to the venom will fall unconscious, ready for me to acquire.

I am to release the insatiable crag gorgers upon the metamorphic rock containing Thaneni's staff, towards the back of Zou’Lidelas, the glaufaye village in Thalumbra.
