Growing up on the streets of Freeport wasn't exactly easy for young Froaklin; being a Froglok, he was often shunned by his peers. However, early on this polliwog learned to ignore his detractors. He turned his attention to music, and eventually found himself to be quite the artist - a pioneer of sorts...
True to froggy form, he dubbed his preferred vocal style 'hip-hop'. His abstract, off-key performances quickly earned him publicity and before long, he had built up a following.
