Plumewit Chick
It's small, but it is vicious. I would have pegged this beastie as an herbivore, but OH NO, it is not. It's every bit as fierce as the apex predators that we have here, and it looks like it wants to pick a fight with everything in the Conservatory. I am not looking forward to my turn to feed it.

This beastie seems to have a pack mentality. Where most of the creatures in the Conservatory perfer to be left alone, this one constantly presses against the sides of its cage, as if it is looking to remain closer to its neighbors. That said, it snaps at us when we feed it, so it seems to like things close, but not TOO close.

This beastie has a cage, but we often let it out, because it doesn't seem to want to go anywhere - it just seems content to observe. The problem is that it will repeat everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - we say in earshot. Which would be a problem in and of itself, but I swear - I SWEAR - I was thinking something, and it repeated my thought, even though I wasn't talking. It was a bit unnerving.

I made the mistake of mentioning that I wanted to pet this beastie, but Attendant C'thrius nearly jumped down my throat with repeated warnings about the shimmering red pattern being a warning of how poisonous it is, and how one touch could mean death. Now the cage has about twenty "DO NOT TOUCH" signs on it. So yeah... don't touch it. I guess.
