a void channelling crystal
This crystal appears to be complete unlike the other void fragments you've seen previously. Closer inspection indicates that this crystal is designed to peer into and control other void fragments. It's no wonder Mistress Syryzana had been holding this crystal, it was allowing her to make strategic plans for the invasion of Faydwer. Holding this crystal up to the sun, you notice that light appears to bend around it but not through the gem. The longer you hold this crystal the more dizzy you become, feeling as though you're drifting off into some other ethereal realm...
