I reached into the corrupted conflagration of fire, conjured by Maelin Starpyre in Myrist, and received a Doomfire Purifying Rune. According to Bellengere the Three, once it has been imbued it will have the power to cleanse the Corilac Embergem, the keystone within Doomfire, of all errant elemental aspects, giving the Plane of Fire a chance to recover from the Chaos introduced by Najena.

In order to imbue the Inert Doomfire Purifying Rune, I must obtain more thermite briquettes from the denizens of Doomfire: Elements of Rage.

I must make my way to the Corilac Embergem, located atop Corilac Tower, to purify it with the Imbued Doomfire Purifying Rune.
